Tourismus bringt halt nichts in die Taschen der Politiker...
In DE haben sie zumindest erkannt, dass Einnahmen beim Volk auch "oben" ankommen... In RO noch immer nicht...

Schade, dass Bukarest nicht katholisch ist - sonst würde diese Tourismusförderungsmaßnahme sicher helfen:

Ich habe gerade mal in der Datenbank für Rund- und Studienreisen nachgeschaut, auf die ich Zugriff habe: 19 Reisen sind dort buchbar (der Tiefststand war mal 6 Reisen). Zeit, mein "Rumänien-Spezial-Reisebüro" wieder zu eröffnen - diesmal virtuell im Internet.

Wie Ihr sicher mitbekommen habt, ist mit FTI einer der großen deutschen Veranstalter insolvent. Als die Meldung kam, habe ich gleich mal bei FTI im Internet nachgeschaut. Es kam eine Warnmeldung in rot, ansonsten war es aber noch im normalen Gewand. Da die Startseite aus einer Suchmaske bestand, hab ich dort einfach mal "Rumänien" eingegeben - und war erstaunt, dass FTI so viel Rumänien im Programm hatte.

Auf den zweiter Blick stellte ich aber fest, dass FTI gar kein eigenes Programm für Rumänien hatte, sondern auf die Angebote anderer Anbieter zurückgriff. Offenbar wollte man damit eine Lücke füllen. Für Stadthotels, die von Geschäftsleuten leben, mag das ja funktionieren, aber für Touristen?

Dann kam ein mir bekannter Name: "Eforie Nord" - dort hatte ich mal die treuesten Kunden, die auch dann noch reisten, als der Rumänientourismus ansonsten schon zusammengebrochen war. Hier hat FTI einfach auf einen Spezialisten für Kur- und Wellnessreisen zurückgegriffen.

Heute morgen lief ein Webinar (ein Webseminar) für die Reisebranche. Thema "Albanien und Kroatien". Kroatien, langjähriger Favorit im "Warmwassertourismus" (Sonne, Strand und Meer). Albanien, der Newcomer mit hohem Potential. Dazwischen liegt Montenegro, inzwischen schon gut etabliert.

Werde zum Üben mal den alten Gedanken vom "Balkan-Reisebüro" wieder aufnehmen. Den "Ballermann-Tourismus" überlasse ich aber lieber nebenan den Bulgaren. Hat aber ein hohes Potential nachdem die Balearen und Kanaren ihn lieber heute als morgen loswerden wollen.
